JACK MEADOWS is a farmer and the cousin to the village postman, Samuel Stamp. Sam had written to Jack some time ago and had suggested that he and Maisie move into the Sylvanian village. Jack was very keen to move and wanted everything to be just right. With the help of his new Sylvanian friends, he has created Meadowcroft Cottage, which is surrounded by acres of good farming land. Jack spends a lot of his time sowing, tending and harvesting his golden fields of wheat. However, what he is proud of the most is his charming cottage garden. It is a magical place with lots of nooks and crannies to explore, twisting paths bordered by big, brightly coloured flowers and rows of trees laden with luscious fruit.
