MAISIE MEADOWS is a very sweet lady who every morning can be found in her kitchen baking her delicious bread. It tastes so good because she uses the flour made from the wheat that her husband Jack has harvested. The smell of baking bread wafts throughout Sylvania and makes everyone hungry for their breakfasts! Maisie has also been commisioned by Basil, the chef at the Harvester Restaurant to make all his bread rolls, which she sends over fresh to the restaurant every morning. Maisie’s other love is her herb and vegetable patch where she grows all the food they need at home. As she says to her husband ”It’s all very well you growing those big fancy blooms, but we can’t eat flowers, can we?”
