ALFRED DAPPLEDAWN is now retired, but in his youth he used to be a brilliant painter and decorator. Most of the houses in the Sylvanian Village have been painted by Alfred over the years. Even though he is retired he still likes to paint, and can often be found sitting in his garden painting pictures. He is sure his granddaughter Tilly gets her artistic flair from him.
